Sev Pudina Paratha is a flavorful lunch or dinner option. 

Sev Pudina Paratha is a quick and easy dish. It is an extremely delicious and soul-satisfying dish. This is a very simple meal to prepare as this uses ingredients that are easily available at your home. Moreover, you can pack it for a kid’s tiffin or for an office lunch box. The sev, mint leaves, and garlic chutney stuffing makes a wonderful texture and amazing taste. So, try to prepare this dish and enjoy it with friends and family. Tips and suggestions by the Mom Chef:

  • Any type of sev/bhujiya can be used.
  • You can add any type of chutney or tomato ketchup instead of garlic chutney.
  • If you want, you can add spices as per taste to the sev mixture.
  • Roll out the paratha from the edges so the stuffing will not come out.
  • Ghee, butter, or oil can be used to prepare this paratha.

Ingredients

  • Hing Sev / Bhujiya - 1/4 Cup
  • Garlic Chutney / Lahsun Chutney - 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves / Pudina - A handful finely chopped
  • Whole Wheat Dough / Gehu Ka Aata - As required
  • Oil - As required

Instructions

  1. Take sev in a bowl. Add garlic chutney and mint leaves. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  2. Take the medium ball sized medium-soft whole wheat dough and make a round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha.
  3. Apply oil to it. Now add the prepared sev stuffing on it.
  4. Join the edges and seal the paratha properly. Slightly press it. Roll it with light hands from the edges to make a paratha.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the prepared paratha on the tawa. Cook it from one side.
  6. Flip it once it is slightly brown, add oil to the paratha and cook it from both sides on a low to medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking it to make it crispy and cook it well.
  7. Once done, turn off the flame and take it out to the serving plate.
  8. 'Sev Pudina Paratha' is ready to be served with pickle.
