Tips and Suggestions by the Mom Chef:
- The curd shouldn’t be sour.
- Insert a knife to check idli. If it comes out clean then it is cooked perfectly.
- The red chilli powder should be added to the tadka after it completely cools down, else it will be burnt.
- You can apply oil to the knife to unmold idli easily.
