Suji Dahi Vada | Instant Dahi Bhalla is quick and easy to prepare snack item for everyone. 

Do not have time or forgot to soak the dal and want to enjoy popular Dahi Bhalla? So, try this recipe of Suji Dahi Vada | Instant Dahi Bhalla which gets ready within 20 minutes. This does not require much ingredients and time. Now, you can prepare this famous snack very easily at home without any hassle. You just need semolina/suji, curd, some chutneys and some spices to make this dish. This is a delicious chaat for everyone, especially for chaat lovers. It is an instant recipe which you can prepare any time and any day. This tastes just like the regular dahi bhalla – soft and spongy. So, try to make this dish at home and enjoy with your loved ones.   • Make a thick batter of suji to make the vada else it will break in the oil.
  • Soak the fried vada in the water. This helps to remove extra oil from the vada and make it soft.
  • Use this green chutney to serve dahi bhalla.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR VADA:-
  • Suji/Rava/Semolina - 1/4 Cup
  • Dahi/Curd - 1/4 Cup
  • Grated Ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Baking Soda/Meetha Soda - a pinch
  • Oil - as required for frying
  • INGREDIENTS FOR SERVING:-
  • Sweetened Curd - as required
  • Green Chutney - as per taste
  • Sweet tamarind chutney - as per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder - as per taste
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Black salt - as per taste
  • Roasted cumin powder - as per taste
  • Coriander Leaves - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. PREPARING THE VADA:- Take a bowl and add semolina/suji, little curd at a time to make a thick batter. Add grated ginger and finely chopped green chilli. Mix well. Add little and curd to adjust the consistency. The batter should be of thick consistency. Rest the batter for 10 minutes.
  2. Now, heat oil for frying.
  3. Add baking soda to the batter and mix well. Make round vada out the batter and fry it in the hot oil.
  4. Keep the flame low-medium while frying. Once the vada turns nice golden brown from all the sides, take them out on a tissue paper.
  5. Soak the fried vada in water for few seconds. Then squeeze the water.
  6. SERVING:- Take a serving plate, place the vada.
  7. Pout sweetened curd, then green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney.
  8. Sprinkle salt, black salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Delicious 'Suji Dahi Vada | Instant Dahi Bhalla' is ready to be served.
