Suji Tutti Frutti Cake | Semolina Tutti Frutti Cake is a mouthwatering cake for everyone. 

Suji Tutti Frutti Cake | Semolina Tutti Frutti Cake is a lip-smacking cake. This is a healthy cake as this uses ingredients semolina, olive oil, tutti frutti. It has nutty taste because of desiccated coconut. You can prepare this cake for any type of celebrations like new year’s party, birthday parties or get-together. This is soft and fluffy in texture. It can be a good snack for your tea-time. Everyone especially kids will love this cake. So, try to make it at home and enjoy. Do share your feedback as well.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • If you do not have fine semolina then grind the semolina to make it fine.
  • You can add whole wheat flour instead of refined flour to the cake.
  • Use any oil like olive oil to make the cake.
  • By coating the tutti frutti with flour it prevents sinking of tutti frutti in the cake.

Ingredients

  • Barik Suji/Fine Semolina - 1 Cup
  • Powdered sugar - 3/4 Cup
  • Maida/Refined flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Desiccated coconut - 3/4 Cup (optional)
  • Baking powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Oil - 4 Tablespoon
  • Vanilla Essence - 3/4 Tablespoon
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Tutti Frutti - 1/2 Cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes
  2. Sieve semolina, powdered sugar, refined flour, desiccated coconut, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
  3. Add oil, vanilla essence and little milk to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Add little more milk to make thick batter.
  5. Coat the tutti frutti with little refined flour. Add to the batter and lightly mix the batter.
  6. Grease a baking tray and line it with butter paper.
  7. Pour the batter in the tray and tap it little bit. Sprinkle the tutti frutti on the top.
  8. Bake the cake at 180 degree Celsius for 30 minutes.
  9. Check the cake by inserting a knife or toothpick in the cake. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready.
  10. Let the cake cool completely then de-mould it.
  11. Delicious 'Suji Tutti Frutti Cake | Semolina Tutti Frutti Cake' is ready to be served.
