Ingredients

  • English oven wheat burger bun - 1
  • FOR PREPARING GREEN CHUTNEY :
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - 1 Cup
  • Mint leaves / Pudina - 1/2 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black salt / Kala namak - 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted gram dal / Daliya dal - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger / Adarak - 1 Inch chopped
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 1
  • Curd / Dahi - 1/4 Cup
  • Lemon juice / Nimbu ka ras - Of 1 Lemon
  • FOR PREPARING TANDOORI PANEER TIKKA :
  • Thick curd / Hung curd - 1 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder / Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
  • Black salt / Kala namak - 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry mango powder / Aamchur - 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder / Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves / Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard oil / Sarso ka tel - 3 tbsp
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup diced
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Diced (optional)
  • Tricolor bell peppers / Shimla mirch - 1 Cup diced
  • Coal - 1
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • FOR PREPARING TANDOORI PANEER TIKKA BURGER :
  • Butter - As required
  • Cheese slice - 1
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Sliced
  • Grated cheese - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING GREEN CHUTNEY :
  2. Take coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt, black salt, roasted gram dal, ginger, green chilli, curd, and lemon juice in a grinding jar.
  3. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its chutney. Take it out in a bowl. Keep it aside.
  4. FOR PREPARING TANDOORI PANEER TIKKA :
  5. Take thick curd in a bowl and whisk it using a hand whisker. Add salt, kashmiri red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black salt, chaat masala, dry mango powder, roasted cumin seeds powder, dry fenugreek leaves by rubbing between your palms, and 1 tbsp of mustard oil. Mix well.
  6. Now add paneer, onion, and tricolor bell peppers. Mix well. Then keep it aside for marination for 15 minutes.
  7. Then heat 2 tbsp of mustard oil in a grill pan. Add the prepared marinated paneer mixture. Saute it for 4 to 5 minutes on high flame by stirring it continuously till the mixture becomes dry.
  8. Once done, turn off the flame. Now make a space in between the pan.
  9. Take a piece of coal on stand over a gas flame until it starts smouldering. Put it in a bowl. Place a bowl in the centre of the paneer mixture pan. Add some drops of ghee on the coal and cover the pan with a lid. Let it rest for about 2 - 3 minutes. Keep it aside.
  10. FOR PREPARING TANDOORI PANEER TIKKA BURGER :
  11. Heat a tawa over medium flame. Grease it with butter. Place the burger bun in a tawa. Roast lightly from insides. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
  12. Apply green chutney on inner part of burger bun.
  13. Put a cheese slice on the lower burger bun. Then add onion slices and the prepared tandoori paneer tikka mixture on it.
  14. Sprinkle some cheese on it. Cover it with an upper burger bun. Secure it with a toothpick.
  15. 'Tandoori Paneer Tikka Burger' is ready to be served.
