Tava Paneer | Garlic Paneer is an amazing and mouth-watering appetizer.

Tava Paneer | Garlic Paneer is a quick and easy starter or appetizer which you can prepare within a few minutes. If you have a sudden guest or friend you can prepare this starter without thinking anything. The flavor of garlic, chilies, and the sauce makes it delicious. Garlic as an ingredient gives an extra kick to any dish. Ingredients

  • Paneer/ cottage paneer - 300 g, cut into cubes
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornflour - as required, to marinate
  • Garlic - 7 to 8 cloves, finely chopped
  • Ginger - 1 small piece, finely chopped
  • Red chilli - 1, finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 1, finely chopped
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 3 teaspoons
  • Salt - as required
  • Coriander leaves - as required, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Firstly, marinate the paneer with cornflour and keep it aside.
  2. Now, take a pan, add butter, and allow it to melt.
  3. Place paneer cubes in it and sauté it well on high flame. Cook it until all the side of the cubes become light brown and crispy.
  4. Turn the cubes over again and again, so that it gets can cooked from all the sides.
  5. Once the cubes get cooked, keep them aside.
  6. Now, add the butter into the same pan, and allow it to melt on a low flame.
  7. Add garlic, ginger, red chili, green chili, chili flakes, tomato sauce, and salt. Sauté it for a minute.
  8. Further, add paneer cubes and sauté it for a few seconds, so that it gets coated with the mixture.
  9. Turn off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  10. Delicious 'Tava Paneer | Garlic Paneer' is ready to be served.

    I tried this at my home and I added spring onions and spread orgeano for garnish. The result was ultimate. My hubby and my baby love it.
