Chilli Paneer Roll is a delicious and healthy tiffin snack for kids as well as adults.

Want some healthy and tasty tiffin snack for kids, so that they will enjoy their tiffin? So, here is the recipe of ‘Chilli Paneer Roll’ which very quick and simple. This has the goodness of tricolour capsicum, paneer. The chilli sauce, soy sauce and tomato sauce adds flavour to the dish. And we know not only children but adults also like to eat these flavours. This roll is a very nutritious option for tiffin as well as dinner or lunch. You can serve this roll as a snack too. So, try to make this roll at home and enjoy with your family and friends. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can use roti or paratha to make the roll.
  • You can avoid the chilli sauce if you want.
  • Instead of mayonnaise, you can use cheese spread too.
  • Adding cheese is completely optional. Cheese adds a good taste to the dish and kids also love to eat cheese.
  • You can avoid garlic if you want.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR STUFFING:-
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 1 Cup
  • Tricolour Capsicum - 1 Cup diced
  • Onion - 1 diced
  • Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 Teaspoon
  • Soy Sauce - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 2 Teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
  • INGREDIENTS FOR ROLL:-
  • Roti - 2
  • Veg Mayonnaise - as required
  • Grated Cheese - as required

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add chopped garlic and saute it for few seconds. Then add diced onion and saute for a minute.
  3. Add diced tricolour capsicum, paneer cubes. Add salt and saute it on a high flame for couple of minutes.
  4. Now, add red chilli sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce. Toss well and cook. Do not overcook the veggies. Keep them crunchy.
  5. Add black pepper powder, toss it and cook for few seconds. Then switch off the gas. Add chopped coriander to it.
  6. PREPARING THE ROLL:-
  7. Take a roti and spread the mayonnaise. Put the chilli paneer stuffing in the center. Sprinkle some grated cheese on the stuffing. Then roll the roti to make a roll.
  8. Meanwhile, heat a tawa.
  9. Lightly roast the roll on a medium flame for a minute. Then take it out.
  10. Seal it with the help of a toothpick or you can cover it with a aluminium foil.
  11. Delicious 'Chilli Paneer Roll' is ready to be served.
