Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:
- Add fried dry fruits to the halwa for batter taste and looks.
- The ratio of ghee to besan should be 1:2.
- Use danedar / mota besan to prepare this halwa.
- If danedar besan is not available, add 2 tsp sooji / Rava in regular besan.
- The ratio of water to besan should be 1:1.
- The ratio of sugar to besan should be 1:1.
- Add milk gradually to give a nice texture to halwa.
- If you want you can add jaggery instead of sugar.
- When the halwa leaves the pan it indicates that the halwa is ready.
