Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING BUTTER GARLIC MIXTURE :
  • Butter/ मक्खन - 1 Tbsp
  • Coriander leaves / धनिया पत्ता - A handful
  • Mixed herbs / मिक्स हर्ब्स - 1 Tbsp
  • Red chilli flakes / रेड चिली फ्लेक्स / कुटी लाल मिर्च - 1 Tsp
  • Garlic / लहसुन - 7 to 8 Cloves grated
  • Black pepper powder / काली मिर्च पाउडर - 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt / नमक - As per taste
  • FOR PREPARING BUTTER GARLIC PANEER PARATHA :
  • Whole wheat dough / गेहूं का आटा - As required
  • Cottage cheese / पनीर - 1 Cup grated
  • Salt / नमक - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / लाल मिर्च पाउडर - As required
  • Coriander leaves / धनिया पत्ता - A handful
  • Clarified butter / घी - As required
  • Tbsp = Tablespoon
  • Tsp = Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING BUTTER GARLIC MIXTURE :
  2. Take butter in a bowl. Add coriander leaves, mixed herbs, red chilli flakes, garlic, black pepper powder, and a little salt. Mix well.
  3. FOR PREPARING BUTTER GARLIC PANEER PARATHA :
  4. Take the medium-soft wheat dough and make round shaped big circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha.
  5. Apply the prepared butter garlic mixture to it. Cut the paratha in the 1/4 portion. Add paneer on the lower right side of 1/4 th portion of the paratha. Sprinkle salt and red chilli powder on it.
  6. Now add coriander leaves on the upper-right side 1/4 th portion of paratha.
  7. Then add paneer on the upper-left side 1/4 th portion of paratha. Sprinkle salt and red chilli powder to it.
  8. Add coriander leaves on the lower-left side 1/4 th portion of paratha.
  9. Start folding the paratha to make a triangle shape. First, fold the paneer side up over the coriander leaves, then keep folding over the paneer and last over the coriander leaves.
  10. Press its edges. Dust it with flour and roll a wrap with light hands to make a paratha.
  11. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the paratha on it and cook it on one side. Flip it, once it is slightly brown.
  12. Apply ghee on both sides and cook on a low flame. Press the paratha while cooking to make it crispy. Once done, transfer it to a serving plate.
  13. 'Butter Garlic Paneer Paratha' is ready to be served.
