  • Ghee can be used instead of oil.
  • The curd mixture should be stirred continuously till it starts to boil else, it may curdle.
  • The addition of whole wheat flour, to the curd, helps to prevent the curdling of the curd.
  • You can adjust the consistency of the sabji as per choice.
  • Adding salt, after curd boiling, prevents the sabji from curdling.
  • Ginger-green chilli paste can be added to the sabji.

Ingredients

  • Curd / दही - 2 Cups
  • Whole wheat flour / गेहूं का आटा - 2 Tsp
  • Turmeric powder / हल्दी पाउडर - 1/2 Tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder/ लाल मिर्ची पाउडर - 1 Tsp
  • All spice mix powder / गरम मसाला - 1/4 Tsp
  • Coriander powder / धनिया पाउडर - 2 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds powder / जीरा पाउडर - 1 Tsp
  • Oil / तेल - 2 Tbsp
  • Mustard seeds / राई - 1 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds / जीरा - 1/2 Tsp
  • Asafoetida / हिंग - A pinch
  • Water / पानी - As required
  • Cottage Cheese / पनीर - 1 Cup Diced
  • Coriander leaves / हरा धनिया - For garnishing
  • Salt / नमक - As per taste
  • Tbsp = Tablespoon
  • Tsp = Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take curd in a bowl. Add whole wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, coriander powder, and cumin seeds powder. Mix well using a whisker.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and prepared curd mixture. Stir continuously till it starts to boil else, it may curdle.
  3. Add little water and salt. Mix well. Then add paneer. Mix well and garnish it with coriander leaves. Once done, take it out to a serving bowl.
  4. 'Dahi Wale Paneer Ki Sabji Without Onion Garlic' is ready to be served.
