Dhabha Style Bharwa Bhindi is a tasty and special dish.

Dhabha Style Bharwa Bhindi is a simple yet savory dish. It tastes great with roti, rice or puri. The masala preparation for the stuffing makes it a very yummy dish. It requires the simple and easily available spices. The spices are red chili powder, coriander and cumin powder, all spice mix powder, and fennel seeds powder.   • You can take raw or less ripe bhindi for making this dish.

Ingredients

  • Lady finger/Bhindi - as required
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili powder/Lal mirch powder - to taste
  • Turmeric powder/Haldi powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander seeds powder/Dhania powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds powder/Jeera powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • All spice mix powder/Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fennel seeds powder/Saunf powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger-Green chili paste/Adrak-Hari mirch paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - of 1/2 lemon
  • Oil - 1 to 2 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds/Jeera - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida powder/Hing powder - a pinch

Instructions

  1. Take the bhindi, cut the top and bottom part of the bhindi. Slit in between.
  2. For making the masala. Take a bowl, put the salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander seeds powder, cumin seeds powder, all spice mix powder, fennel seeds powder, ginger-green chilli paste and squeeze the lemon juice.
  3. Now, mix the masala with hands. Fill the masala in the bhindi and keep the masala stuffed bhindi ready.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Place all the stuffed bhindi. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.
  5. After 3 to 4 minutes, open the cover, lightly toss or flip the bhindi. Cover and cook from all sides for 6 to 7 minutes.
  6. The Dhabha Style Bharwa Bhindi is ready to be served.
