Gobhi Paneer Paratha is a popular stuffed Indian paratha.

Gobhi Paneer Paratha is basically a north Indian or Punjabi cuisine parantha. Grated cauliflower, paneer, onion, and spices are the main ingredients of the recipe. This paratha is prepared from cauliflower and paneer stuffing, but it can be easily extended by adding potatoes, and even capsicum. To get the best taste of the parathas, gobhi should not be cooked. The stuffing can vary as per your taste and preference. This paratha is so tasty and yummy, typically served with pickle or yogurt. It is amazing so everyone likes to have it. Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 bowl grated
  • Onion - 1/2 finely chopped
  • Paneer - 1 tablespoon grated
  • Coriander leaves - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Salt - as required
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (as required)
  • Dry mango powder - 1/4 teaspoon (as required)
  • Whole wheat flour - 1 bowl
  • Ghee - 1 tablespoon (as required)

Instructions

  1. Take cauliflower and cut into big pieces.
  2. Add cauliflower pieces into boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Now, drain the water and grate the cauliflower. Take all excess water from it.
  4. Add onion, grated paneer, and coriander leaves.
  5. Add salt, red chili powder, and dry mango powder. Mix it well
  6. Prepare dough from whole wheat flour and needs to be kneaded very smoothly.
  7. Take a medium-sized ball from the dough and roll it.
  8. Now, place the prepared stuffing in the center.
  9. Take the edge, pleating bringing to center and press the pleats from the center.
  10. Now, sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.
  11. Heat a pan and place the rolled paratha. Cook both sides.
  12. Grease ghee from the top and around the corners. Press it slightly.
  13. Transfer paratha to the serving plate.
  14. Delicious Gobhi Paneer Paratha is ready to be served.
