- Remember to not make the batter for dhokla very thin as it is being cooked in the microwave.
- You can use the juice of half a lemon instead of using citric acid.
- While preparing the batter, remember to pour water in small amounts to avoid any lumps in the batter. Keep stirring the batter while pouring water into it until it becomes a smooth batter without any lumps.
- While making the lemon sugar syrup, you can adjust the amount of water used in it according to your choice.
- You can also use powdered sugar if khand is not available.
