Kadai Paneer | Restaurant Style Kadhai Paneer is a mouthwatering preparation for all.

A flavourful and lip-smacking curry is Kadai Paneer | Restaurant Style Kadhai Paneer. This is absolute amazing dish goes well with naan, paratha, roti and many more. This is very quick and easy to prepare too. A special masala is added to the dish which gives a nice flavour. This special masala is a star ingredient. Paneer or cottage cheese is favourite of all, isn’t it? There are many recipes available using paneer. One of the popular and lovable dishes is kadai paneer. Moreover, it is very simple to make using easily available ingredients. So, try to make this curry at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

Ingredients

  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 150 Gram
  • Onion - 1 Cup chopped
  • Tomato - 1 Cup chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon
  • Capsicum - 1 sliced
  • Coriander Leaves - as required for garnishing
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala/All spice mix - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • INGREDIENTS FOR SPECIAL MASALA:-
  • Dry red chilli - 5 to 6
  • Coriander seeds - 2 Tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. PREPARING THE SPECIAL MASALA:- Lightly dry roast the cumin and coriander seeds. Let them cool. Then Grind dry red chillies, roasted cumin and coriander seeds. Make fine powder. Store this in an airtight container for upto 6 to 8 months.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute if for few seconds.
  4. Then add chopped onion and saute it until they turn translucent (or pinkish.)
  5. Now, add chopped tomatoes and cook it until it gets softened.
  6. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala and special masala. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  7. Add little water to it and cook.
  8. Add paneer/cottage cheese cubes and little water to adjust the consistency. Cover and cook for couple of minutes. Then switch off the gas.
  9. Delicious 'Kadai Paneer | Restaurant Style Kadai Paneer' is ready to be served.
