Kashmiri Pulao is a delicious preparation from the Kashmiri cuisine.
Kashmiri Pulao is a combination of sweet and mildly spicy taste. This rich and flavourful rice required some fry fruits, pineapple, apple and some whole spices. Saffron gives a nice colour and aroma to the rice. It is a very simple recipe which requires only 5 minutes to get ready if you have cooked rice. This is a very elegant and delightful recipe. Everyone will love this pulao including kids because it is little sweet and mildly spicy that come from whole spices. Moreover, it very appealing and colourful pulao. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- After sauteeing the cashew nuts and almonds, switch off the gas. Then add raisins because it does not take much time to cook.
- Salt was added while cooking the rice. So, no need to add salt later on. And add sugar to the fruits and keep aside for 10 minutes. This will give little sweetness to the rice.
- Add a pinch of sugar and teaspoon water while boiling the green peas in a pressure cooker. The colour of the peas remains green. You can follow this tip for all green colour veggies.
