Makhaniya Lassi | Punjabi Makhaniya Lassi – a refreshing drink
Punjab is famous for its lassi and food, isn’t it? Makhaniya Lassi | Punjabi Makhaniya Lassi is a most popular across the world and is super delicious summer cooler too. This creamy sweet lassi requires curd, sugar, vanilla ice cream and cardamom powder, cashew nuts for garnishing. This is a rich and thick yoghurt/curd based drink. Generally, it is served in a tall glass with a dollop of cream or malai. It is very filling and tasty. You can not resist yourself to try this old traditional delicacy. So, try to make the lassi at home and enjoy the summers with your family and friends.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- It is recommended to use thick curd. If you do not have thick curd, remove its water before making the Lassi. Else, it will be very thin consistency.
- If the curd is sour, you can add more sugar to it.
- To make the Lassi interesting, you can add vanilla ice cream. But if you want you can add fresh Malai or cream too.
- You can garnish it with saffron or rose syrup.
