Mango Shrikhand | Amrakhand is a lip-smacking mango flavoured dessert. This is another version of shrikhand – a very ancient sweet preparation o India. The main ingredient of this dessert is mango and curd. It does not require much to get ready with minimal ingredients. This is a seasonal delicacy and most lovable sweet in Gujarat. You can serve it as a dessert or even a meal when served with poori/paratha. It is very healthy because it uses curd with the goodness of mango. Roasted almonds are used to add crunch to the dish whereas saffron and cardamom gives nice flavour and aroma. So, try to make this super easy dessert at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

Tips and suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- The hung curd should be very thick because the consistency will change after adding mango pulp.
- It is recommended to use the Alphonso variety of mango.
- Any dry fruit of choice can be used.
- It can be made plain as well if mango pulp and mango pieces are not added. Then it will only be shrikhand. Also, other fruits such as strawberry can be used to make other versions.
