Methi Stuffed Paratha | Methi Paratha is a healthy and flavorful dish.

Methi Stuffed Paratha | Methi Paratha is a quick and easy dish. It is an extremely delicious and soul-satisfying dish. This is a very simple meal to prepare as this uses ingredients that are easily available at your home. Moreover, you can pack it for a kid’s tiffin or for an office lunch box.   • Slightly press the stuffed paratha ball to remove air.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Dough / Gehu Ka Aata - As required
  • Sesame Seeds / Til - As required (optional)
  • Clarified Butter / Ghee - As required
  • Fenugreek Leaves / Hari Methi - 1/2 Cup finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - As required
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeera - As required

Instructions

  1. Take the medium ball sized medium-soft whole wheat dough and make a round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and add sesame seeds on it. Then roll a peda to make a small paratha.
  2. Then flip it. Apply ghee to it. Then add fenugreek leaves on it. Sprinkle salt and red chilli powder on it. Now add cumin seeds on it.
  3. Join the edges and seal the paratha properly. Slightly press it. Dust it with flour and roll it with light hands to make a paratha.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the prepared paratha on the tawa. Cook it from one side.
  5. Flip it once it is slightly brown, add ghee to the paratha and cook it from both sides on a low to medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking it to make it crispy and cook it well.
  6. Once done, turn off the flame and take it out to the serving plate.
  7. 'Methi Stuffed Paratha | Methi Paratha' is ready to be served with instant mango pickle, green chilli, and onion.
