Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:
- You can add a little water while grinding the moong dal.
- The moong dal should be coarsely ground.
- Dry roast cumin seeds, dry coriander seeds, black peppercorns, fennel seeds, and dry ginger for 2 to 3 minutes then coarsely grind it to make pakoda masala.
- Besan is optional.
