Ingredients

  • Desiccated coconut - 2 Cups + For coating
  • Milk - 3/4 Cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 Cup
  • Cardamom powder / Elaichi powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Milk powder - 1 Cup
  • Pistachios flakes - 1 Teaspoon + For garnishing
  • Almond flakes - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cashew / Kaju - 1 Teaspoon chopped
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - For greasing

Instructions

  1. Roast desiccated coconut on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes till a nice aroma begins to rise.
  2. Now add milk. Mix well and add sugar. Stir it continuously for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame.
  3. Then add cardamom powder and milk powder. Mix well and keep stirring continuously for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame.
  4. Once done add pistachio, cashew, and almond. Mix it well and turn off the flame. Let it cool down.
  5. Now grease your palms with ghee. Take a small, ball-sized part of ladoo mixture, roll it between your palms and make a round shaped ladoo.
  6. Then roll the ladoo in the desiccated coconut. Garnish it with pistachio flakes. Likewise prepare all the ladoos. Take it out to a serving plate.
  7. 'Nariyal Ladoo | Instant Coconut Ladoo' is ready to be served.
