Oats Vegetable Paratha is a nice combination of healthy and tasty food.

Oats Vegetable Paratha is an easy and nutritious snack made with oats, vegetables, and spices. It will be a nice idea for making tiffin in the early morning for busy weekdays. Moreover, you can prepare it for any party or for a healthy evening snack as well. You can serve it with curd, chutney, or tomato ketchup. Ingredients

  • Oats - 1 Cup
  • Carrot / Gajar - 1 Grated
  • Spinach / Palak - 1 tbsp Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp (optional)
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Whole wheat dough - As required
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Roast oats in a pan for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame. Let it cool down and grind it for a few seconds to make its powder.
  2. Take roasted oats powder in a bowl. Add carrot, spinach, salt, red chilli powder, and oil. Mix well.
  3. Take the medium-soft wheat dough and make a round shaped big circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha.
  4. Apply ghee to it. Now spread the half side of the prepared paratha. Start folding the paratha to make a triangle shape. First, fold it into half. Then fold it again to make a triangle shape.
  5. Top the paratha with coriander leaves and roll it to make a triangle paratha.
  6. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the paratha on it and cook it on one side. Flip it, once it is slightly brown.
  7. Apply ghee on both sides and cook on a low flame. Press the paratha while cooking to make it crispy. Once done, transfer it to a serving plate.
  8. 'Oats Vegetable Paratha' is ready to be served.
