Palak Chutney | Spinach Chutney is a mouth-watering dip.

Palak Chutney | Spinach Chutney is a very healthy and tasty chutney. This goes well with any type of dish as a dip or side dish. This uses spinach, coriander leaves, some spices. This is quick and easy to prepare and does not require any type of cooking. You can include spinach in your diet in a delicious way. Everyone will love this chutney. As spinach is very healthy and rich in iron and other nutrients. This chutney will help to fulfil the nutrient requirement of the body. So, try to make this chutney at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

This chutney was prepared by Neelam Shah – a lovely mom from Mumbai.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • To retain the green colour of the spinach, lemon juice should be added while grinding the chutney.
  • Garlic is optional.
  • This chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • This chutney can be served as a dip or used in sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • Palak/ Spinach - 250 g
  • Dhaniya Patta/Coriander Leaves - a handful
  • Moongfali/Peanuts - 1 to 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Namkeen Sev - 2 Tablespoon
  • Hari Mirch/ Green Chillies - 1 to 2
  • Adrak/ Ginger - a ½ inch piece
  • Lemon juice/Neebu ras - of 1 & a ½ lemons
  • Namak/ Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Grind peanuts, namkeen sev, ginger, green chilli, and salt in a grinder jar.
  2. Then add spinach, coriander leaves, and lemon juice. Grind it again using water. Make a smooth chutney. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Delicious 'Palak Chutney | Spinach Chutney' is ready to be served.
