Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:
- If you want, you can soak moong dal in hot water for 15 minutes.
- Oil can be used instead of ghee.
- Add the fruit salt to the batter just before preparing the pakoda.
- Normal tawa can be used instead of a grill pan.
- If you want, you can shallow fry or deep fry the pakoda.
- Carefully flip the sandwich using 2 spatulas.
