Palak Paneer Paratha is a perfect tiffin snack for kids.

Palak Paneer Paratha is a perfect one-dish meal containing all the required nutrients. It is made with whole wheat flour, spinach, paneer, and some spices. In addition, these parathas can be served as lunch or dinner with any type of chutney or curd. It is very soft and healthy as it has spinach and paneer. Moreover, spinach is a superfood, loaded with nutrients, high levels of vitamins K and A, protein, iron, and minerals. Paneer is a rich source of protein, and thus, it is ideal for vegetarians. So, try to make this recipe in your kitchen and share your feedback with us.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Flour / Gehu Ka Aata - 1 & 1/2 cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Spinach / Palak - 1/2 Cup finely chopped
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1/2 Cup
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • Cheese spread - As required

Instructions

  1. Take wheat flour in a bowl. Add salt, chaat masala, red chilli flakes, spinach, and mashed paneer. Add water gradually to prepare a medium consistency dough.
  2. Then take about 1/2 Teaspoon of ghee to a palm and knead the dough well.
  3. Then shape it into a ball, and flatten it. Dust it with flour. Roll it and prepare a paratha.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the paratha on it and cook it on one side.
  5. Flip it, once it is slightly brown. Flip the paratha, after it is roasted well from one side.
  6. Apply ghee on both sides and cook on a medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking to make it crispy.
  7. Once done, transfer it to a plate. Then apply cheese spread on it and cut it.
  8. 'Palak Paneer Paratha' is ready to be served.
