  • If you want to soak cashews instantly, boil the cashews in the water for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  • Slightly heat the ghee and add kashmiri red chilli powder.
  • When the bubbles appear to the ghee add the prepared tomato-cashew paste.
  • Water can be added to adjust the consistency of the sabji.
  • You can add jaggery instead of powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING PASTE :
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 2 Chopped
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 1/2
  • Ginger / Adrak - 1/2 Inch
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Cashew / Kaju - 5 to 6
  • Water - As required
  • FOR PREPARING PANEER BUTTER MASALA NO ONION NO GARLIC :
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder / Kashmiri Lal Mirch Powder - 2 tbsp
  • Dry Fenugreek Leaves / Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp
  • All Spice Mix Powder / Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Powdered Sugar / Pisi Hui Chini - 1/4 tsp
  • Cottage Cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING PASTE :
  2. Soak cashews in water for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add tomato, green chilli, and ginger. Add soaked cashews and cover the pan with a lid.
  4. Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes on medium flame till the tomato peels separate. Keep stirring occasionally.
  5. Once done, turn off the flame and let it cool down. Then transfer it to a grinding jar and add a little water. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its paste. Then strain it and take it out in a bowl. Keep it aside.
  6. FOR PREPARING PANEER BUTTER MASALA NO ONION NO GARLIC :
  7. Slightly heat ghee in a pan. Add kashmiri red chilli powder. When the bubbles appear in the ghee, add the prepared tomato-cashew paste and mix well.
  8. Then add dry fenugreek leaves by rubbing between your palms, a little water, all spice mix powder, and powdered sugar. Mix well.
  9. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on a medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  10. Then add paneer. Boil it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  11. Once done, turn off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  12. 'Paneer Butter Masala - No Onion No Garlic' is ready to be served.
