- Turmeric powder should be added in enough quantity for a nice color.
- Always add dry ingredients and spices to increase the shelf life of thepla.
- You can store this thepla for 10 days at room temperature and for 30 days in the refrigerator.
- TO PREPARE SOFT THEPLA :
- Oil should not be mixed with flour and spices.
- Add water on the oil in a mixing bowl to prepare soft consistency dough.
- The dough should be of soft consistency.
- The tawa should be hot enough before roasting the thepla on it.
- Don’t press the thepla while roasting them.
- Cover the thepla with muslin cloth and let it cool down completely before packing it.
