• Turmeric powder should be added in enough quantity for a nice color.
• Always add dry ingredients and spices to increase the shelf life of thepla.
• You can store this thepla for 10 days at room temperature and for 30 days in the refrigerator.
• TO PREPARE SOFT THEPLA :
• Oil should not be mixed with flour and spices.
• Add water on the oil in a mixing bowl to prepare soft consistency dough.
• The dough should be of soft consistency.
• The tawa should be hot enough before roasting the thepla on it.
• Don’t press the thepla while roasting them.
• Cover the thepla with muslin cloth and let it cool down completely before packing it.
