Paneer Paratha | Paneer Lifafa Paratha is a mouthwatering paratha for all, especially kids.

Paneer Paratha | Paneer Lifafa Paratha is a delicious stuffed paratha. This has veggies like carrot and onion with some spices and paneer/cottage cheese. This has a delicious filling with little crisp outer covering. This paratha is very healthy as well as delicious breakfast or lunch or dinner. You can serve this paratha in the tiffin box too. It is very quick and easy to prepare too. Kids will love to eat this paratha as it is very appealing. So, try to make this paratha and enjoy with your loved ones.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can add veggies of your choice to make the stuffing.
  • Make the paratha of any shape and size of your choice.
  • Cook the paratha on a low flame for the perfect texture.
  • In place of ghee you can use butter or oil.
  • If you want, you can skip red chili powder.
  • You can use chopped carrot in place of grated carrot for the filling.

Ingredients

  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 1 cup grated
  • Gajar/Carrot - 1 small grated
  • Onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Coriander Leaves - chopped as required
  • Ginger-Green Chilli paste/Adrak-Lahsun paste - 1/2 teaspoom
  • Chaat masala - to taste
  • Black pepper powder/Kali mirch powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Red Chilli powder - as per taste
  • Garam Masala/All spice mix powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Wheat dough - ready to make 2 to 3 parathas
  • Clarified butter/Ghee - as required

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add grated paneer, grated carrot, finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, ginger-green chilli paste, salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, garam masala. Mix well.
  2. Take a dough (equal to chapati dough or you can make it according to your choice). Roll it to make chapati. Apply 1 teaspoon ghee on the chapati.
  3. Place the stuffing on the chapati and press lightly. Fold from two sides and from top and bottom, to make like a envelope. Roll it lightly.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Now, place the paratha on the pan. Roast on medium flame, press lightly and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Flip and press lightly and apply ghee. Again flip and apply ghee. Cook from both the sides for 2 to 3 minutes
  6. Delicious 'Paneer Paratha | Paneer Lifafa Paratha' is ready to be served.
