Paneer Tikka Sandwich is a unique and mouth-watering sandwich.

Paneer Tikka Sandwich is a delicious and spicy sandwich prepared from marinated paneer. It is a simple, easy, and tasty sandwich that can be prepared for breakfast, evening snacks, or for a light lunch or dinner. There are many ways of making paneer sandwiches but this recipe is very quick and tastes wonderful. Relish it with tomato ketchup or green chutney or with your favorite beverages.   • Add different colored capsicum to make the sandwich more colorful.
  • Make sure, to use mustard oil to enhance it’s taste.
  • If you have time, you can rest the paneer mixture for 5 to 10 minutes or even you can use it instantly.
  • Use whole wheat flour bread or multigrain bread or white bread of your choice.
  • You can also have paneer tikka with roti or paratha or chapati or even as it is.
  • Adjust the spices as per the requirement and serve it hot for a better taste.

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour bread - 2 slices
  • Butter - as required
  • Paneer cubes/ cottage cheese cubes - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, diced
  • Capsicum - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - as required
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon or as required
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - a pinch
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch, grated
  • Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves, finely chopped
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Mustard oil - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add curd and beat it properly.
  2. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin seeds powder, chaat masala, ginger, garlic, and green chili. Mix well.
  3. Now, add onion, capsicum, and paneer cubes. Mix well and coat the masala properly. If you have time, you can rest it for 5 to 10 minutes or even you can use it instantly.
  4. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the above-prepared marinated paneer. Saute well on a medium flame and stir it occasionally. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until the mixture becomes dry. Then, turn off the flame and let it cool completely for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Take a whole wheat flour bread slice and spread the butter evenly.
  6. Now, place the paneer tikka mixture properly to the bread slice.
  7. Now, heat a pan and add the butter. Allow it to melt and place the above-prepared bread slice. Cover and toast it on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Delicious Paneer Tikka Sandwich is ready to be served.
