Ingredients

  • Potato / Aloo - 1
  • Corn Flour - 1 tsp
  • Dr. Oetker’s Veg Mayonnaise Garlic - As required
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 tsp
  • Water - As required
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Oil - For frying
  • Peri Peri Masala - As required
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Peel the potato and cut the potato lengthwise into thick slices. Then cut the potato slices lengthwise into thick long pieces.
  2. Now take 2 skewers and put a long potato slice in between. Make small vertical slits on it.
  3. Then flip it and again make diagonally small slits on long potato piece as shown in the video. Likewise, prepare all potato twisters.
  4. Take corn flour in a mixing bowl. Add maida and salt. Mix well. Then add water gradually and prepare a lumps-free thin consistency slurry.
  5. Meanwhile, heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium flame. When the oil is hot, dip the prepared potato twisters in the prepared slurry, and coat it evenly.
  6. Place it gently into the hot oil. Deep fry them until crispy and light golden brown from both sides, on medium flame. Once done, take them out to a serving plate using a slotted spoon.
  7. Garnish it with Dr. Oetker’s Veg Mayonnaise Garlic, peri peri masala, and coriander leaves.
  8. 'Potato Twisters' is ready to be served.
