Tindora Carrot Pickle | Instant Tendli Carrot Pickle is a yummy pickle for everyone. 

Tindora Carrot Pickle | Instant Tendli Carrot Pickle is a mouthwatering pickle. This uses ivy gourd/tindora/kundru with some pickle masala, very little oil and lemon juice. This does not require any type of cooking and gets ready within minutes. This uses little oil but you can make it without oil as well. This is a type of instant pickle so you can make and eat this fresh. Everyone will love this pickle. So, try to make this pickle at home and enjoy. Do share your feedback as well.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Make this pickle with Achar Masala | Homemade Pickle Masala.
  • If you do not have pickle masala then you can make it very easily. See the recipe.
  • If you want you can avoid garlic.
  • Add salt and achar/pickle masala according to your taste.
  • Marinate the pickle for about 6 to 8 hours. Then refrigerate.
  • You can store this instant pickle for a week.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR PICKLE WITH PICKLE MASALA:-
  • Ivy Gourd/Tindora/Tendli/Kundru - 1 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Carrot - 1 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Garlic - 1/4 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Achar Masala - 1/4 Cup or as per taste
  • Lemon juice - 3 to 4 Tablespoon or as per taste
  • Oil - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • INGREDIENTS FOR PICKLE WITHOUT PICKLE MASALA:-
  • Ivy Gourd/Tindora/Tendli/Kundru - 1 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Carrot - 1 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Garlic - 1/4 Cup cut into long pieces
  • Rai dal/Crushed yellow mustard - 2 to 4 Tablespoon
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 to 3 Tablespoon or as per taste
  • Lemon juice - 3 to 4 Tablespoon or as per taste
  • Oil - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste

Instructions

  1. PREPARATION OF PICKLE WITH PICKLE MASALA:- Take a bowl and add chopped tindora, carrot, garlic, pickle masala, lemon juice, salt. Mix well. Fill the pickle in glass container and add add oil. Keep it out side for marination then refrigerate.
  2. PREPARATION of PICKLE WITHOUT PICKLE MASALA:- Take a bowl and add chopped tindora, carrot, garlic, rai dal/crushed yellow mustard seeds, red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice. Mix well. Fill the pickle in glass container and add add oil. Keep it out side for marination then refrigerate.
  3. Delicious 'Tindora Carrot Pickle | Instant Tendli Carrot Pickle' is ready to be served.
