Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING ALOO PALAK MIXTURE :
  • Oil - 1 & 1/2 Tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1 Teaspoon
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 1 Slited
  • Curry leaves / Curry patta - A few
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Spinach / Palak - 1 Cup chopped
  • Potato / Aloo - 2 to 3 Boiled and chopped
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Lemon juice / Nimbu ka ras - Of 1/2 lemon
  • FOR PREPARING ALOO PALAK WRAP :
  • Cooked roti / Chapati - 1
  • Green chutney - As required
  • Grated cheese - As required
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Chaat masala - As required
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As Required

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, onion, salt, and turmeric powder. Mix well and saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  2. Add spinach. Mix well. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes. Then add potato, salt for potato, all spice mix powder, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  3. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes. Now turn off the flame and add lemon juice. Mix well. Once done, keep it aside.
  4. Take cooked roti and apply green chutney to it. Then add the prepared aloo palak mixture to the half roti. Add cheese, coriander leaves, and sprinkle some chaat masala on it. Fold it from the middle and press it.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee and place the wrap.
  6. Apply ghee and roast it from both sides by pressing it on low flame till become crispy. Once it is done. Take it out on the serving plate and cut it from the middle.
  7. 'Aloo Palak Wrap' is ready to be served.
