Bahubali Sandwich is a jumbo-sized healthy snack.

Bahubali Sandwich is a street-style appetizer. It is not only easy and quick but also a delicious option for tiffin, a party snack, or for a weekend special dinner. You can prepare it easily using bread, veggies, paneer, cheese, namkeen sev, Green chutney, tomato ketchup, and some spices.  In addition, this sandwich has lots of vegetables hence it is high in fiber, vitamins, and carbohydrates. So, try to make this sandwich in your kitchen and share your valuable feedback with us.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING STUFFING :
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1 finely chopped
  • Capsicum / Shimla mirch - 1/2 finely chopped
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Sweet corn - 2 tsp parboiled (optional)
  • Cheese - 2 tsp grated
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  • Veg mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch - 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING BAHUBALI SANDWICH :
  • Bread - 4 slices
  • Butter - as required
  • Green chutney / Hari chutney - as required
  • Cheese slices - 3
  • Boiled potato / Aloo - 1 peeled and sliced
  • Capsicum slices / Shimla mirch - 2
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 sliced
  • Cucumber / Kheera - 1/2 sliced
  • Chaat masala - as required
  • Cheese - As required
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Namkeen sev / Naylon sev - as required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING STUFFING :
  2. Take onion, tomato, capsicum, paneer, sweet corn, cheese, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, veg mayonnaise, oregano, black pepper powder, chaat masala, salt, and red chilli flakes in a bowl. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  3. FOR PREPARING BAHUBALI SANDWICH :
  4. Apply butter and green chutney on all bread slices.
  5. Then spread the prepared stuffing on one slice of bread and put a cheese slice on it. Sprinkle chaat masala on it.
  6. Further, place one butter and green chutney applied bread slice on it. Arrange boiled potato slices and capsicum rings to it. Sprinkle chaat masala on it and put a cheese slice on it.
  7. Then place the third butter and green chutney applied bread slice on it. Arrange onion and cucumber slices on it. Sprinkle chaat masala on it and put a cheese slice on it.
  8. Cover it with last butter and green chutney applied bread slice. Apply butter on the upper side of it.
  9. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with butter. Place the prepared sandwich on the tawa.
  10. Toast it from both sides on a low flame till it becomes nice golden and crispy.
  11. Once done, take it out on a serving plate and grate cheese on it. Then garnish it with red chilli flakes and namkeen sev. Cut it into four pieces.
  12. 'Bahubali Sandwich' is ready to be served.
