Cheesy Masala Bun is a unique and mouthwatering snack. It is super easy to prepare from the bun, veggies, green chutney, cheese, paneer, and some spices. In addition, it has the goodness of paneer which makes it more nutritious. The flavor of Tomato ketchup and green chutney and the crunch of veggies gives an amazing texture and make you eat more and more. Moreover, you can serve it with your favorite cold beverages. Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING STUFFING :
  • Tricolor bell peppers / Shimla mirch - 1 Cup finely chopped
  • Parboiled sweet corn - 1/2 Cup
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup Finely chopped
  • Grated cheese - 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch - 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
  • Veg mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
  • FOR PREPARING CHEESY MASALA BUN :
  • Bun - 3
  • Green chutney - As required
  • Grated cheese - For garnishing
  • Chilli flakes - For garnishing
  • Mixed herbs - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING STUFFING :
  2. Take tricolor bell pepper, sweet corn, paneer, grated cheese, black pepper powder, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, salt, tomato ketchup, and veg mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  3. FOR PREPARING CHEESY MASALA BUN :
  4. Take buns. Make 4 slits at the top side into a squared shape gently. Take out square-shaped bun part and scoop a small portion of the bun to make space for stuffing.
  5. Firstly, apply green chutney to it. Now stuff it with the prepared stuffing. Garnish it with cheese, chilli flakes, and mixed herbs. Likewise, prepare all buns. Apply butter on all sides of the buns.
  6. Meanwhile, heat a pan. Grease it with butter. Place the prepared bun on it. Add cheese to it. Cover the pan with a lid.
  7. Toast it on a low flame for 7 to 8 minutes till it becomes nice golden and crispy. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
  8. 'Cheesy Masala Bun' is ready to be served.
