Desi Pizza Paratha is a delicious stuffed paratha.

If you want to enjoy a cheesy pizza taste with aloo paratha, then Desi Pizza Paratha is a good idea to make. This paratha is a combination of pizza and aloo paratha. It is a nice idea for a kid’s tiffin or for lunch or dinner. It goes well with tomato ketchup, curd, or green chutney. Everyone will love its taste. Ingredients

  • Boiled potato / Aloo - 2 Peeled and mashed
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 2 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds powder / Jeera powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder / Dhaniye powder - 1 tsp
  • Whole wheat dough / Gehu ka aata - As required
  • Tomato ketchup - As required + For garnishing
  • Cheese slice - 1
  • Capsicum ring / Shimla mirch - 1
  • Mixed herbs - As required
  • Chilli flakes - As required
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • Veg mayonnaise - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take boiled potato in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, cumin seeds powder, and coriander powder. Mix well. Make balls of medium size from it. Keep it aside.
  2. Take the medium ball-sized dough and make a round-shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour. Roll a peda to make a small paratha.
  3. Apply tomato ketchup in the centre of the paratha. Now add the prepared potato mixture ball, cheese slice, and capsicum ring.
  4. Now sprinkle mixed herbs and chilli flakes on it. Then fold the paratha's border and dust it with flour. Then roll it with light hands to prepare the paratha.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the prepared paratha on it and cook it from one side on medium flame. Flip it, once it is slightly brown.
  6. Apply ghee on both sides and cook on a medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking to make it crispy.
  7. Once done, transfer it to a serving plate. Then cut it and garnish it with tomato ketchup and veg mayonnaise.
  8. 'Desi Pizza Paratha' is ready to be served.
