Paneer Rajwada | Shahi Rajwada Paneer is a delectable delicacy. 

Paneer Rajwada | Shahi Rajwada Paneer is a rich, creamy dish from Royal cuisine. The paneer cubes are cooked in the rich gravy of cashew nuts, spices and malai/homemade cream. This is simple and easy to prepare using fewer ingredients which are easily available at home. It has a nice aroma and flavour of whole spices. You can serve this curry with naan or tandoori roti or paratha. Everyone will just love the dish and demand you for more. Ingredients

  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese Cube - 200 grams
  • Cashew/Kaju - 10 to 12
  • Homemade Cream/Malai - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Onion - 1, finely chopped
  • Grated ginger - 1 Teaspoon
  • Hari Mirch/Green chilli - 1, finely chopped
  • Bay leaf/Tej patta - 1
  • Laung/Cloves - 2
  • Elaichi/Green cardamom - 2
  • Kasuri Methi/Dry Feugreek Leaves - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala/All Spice Mix - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ghee/Clarified Butter - 2 Tablespoon
  • Coriander leaves - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashew nuts in warm water for 30 minutes. Then grind them to make a fine paste.
  2. Now, heat ghee in a pan.
  3. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, green cardamom, cloves, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Sauté for a few seconds.
  4. Add kasuri methi and sauté for a few seconds. Then add chopped onion, grated ginger, and chopped green chilli. Sauté it on a high-medium flame until onion turns brownish.
  5. Now, add cashew paste, mix well. Add a little water to it and mix well again.
  6. Add salt and mix well. Cover and cook on a low flame for 2 to 3 Minutes.
  7. Add beaten homemade cream/malai. Mix well and cook.
  8. Then add paneer cubes. Mix well and cook. Add a little water to adjust the consistency. Mix well, cover with a lid and cook for a few seconds by covering with a lid. Then turn off the flame.
  9. Delicious 'Paneer Rajwada | Shahi Rajwada Paneer' is ready to be served. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with paratha or naan or roti.
