Sev Papad Ka Paratha | Papad Bhujiya Paratha is a nutritious dish. 

Sev Papad Ka Paratha | Papad Bhujiya Paratha is a healthy any-time meal option. This is a nice flavorful and crunchy paratha. You just need roasted papad, bhujiya/sev whole wheat dough, and some spices to prepare this paratha. You will get amazing flavour of papad and bhujiya in the paratha. Moreover, you can serve it for lunch and dinner. It goes well with curd, or any type of chutney. Ingredients

  • Roasted papad - 1
  • Sev / Bhujiya - 1/4 Cup
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful + As required
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1/2 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Whole wheat dough / Gehu ka aata - As required
  • Water - As required
  • Onion seeds / Kalonji - As required
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Crush roasted papad in a bowl. Add sev, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, cumin seeds, and oil. Mix well.
  2. Take the medium-soft whole wheat dough and make round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha.
  3. Apply ghee to it. Then add the prepared papad sev stuffing in the center. Join the edges and seal the paratha properly. Slightly press it. Dust it with flour. Then roll it with light hands and prepare the paratha.
  4. Apply a few drops of water to it. Sprinkle kalonji and coriander leaves on it. Now again slightly roll it with light hands.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the prepared paratha on it and cook it on one side. Flip it, once it is slightly brown.
  6. Apply ghee on both sides and cook on a medium flame. Press the paratha while roasting the paratha, to make crispy and nicely golden brown paratha.
  7. Once done, transfer it to a serving plate.
  8. 'Sev Papad Ka Paratha | Papad Bhujiya Paratha' is ready to be served with raita, pickle, and green chutney.
