Sooji Malai Toast is a delicious instant tiffin idea.

Sooji Malai Toast is a colorful and healthy snack. This is a wonderful option for quick morning breakfast and a special dish for a busy weekday dinner. The schezwan sauce is delicious enough to tempt them. This will be a good idea to add vegetables to the kid’s meals. Ingredients

  • Semolina / Sooji - 1/2 Cup
  • Fresh cream / Homemade malai - 1/2 Cup
  • Water - As required
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Tricolor capsicum - 1 Cup finely chopped
  • Carrot / Gajar - 1 Grated
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 2 to 3 Finely chopped
  • Garlic / Lahsun - 3 to 4 Cloves finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch - 1 Teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 Teaspoon + For garnishing
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Schezwan sauce - 2 Teaspoons
  • Bread slice - 1

Instructions

  1. Take semolina in a bowl. Add fresh cream and water. Mix well and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Then add onion, tricolor capsicum, carrot, coriander leaves, green chilli, garlic, salt, black pepper powder, oregano, and red chilli flakes. Mix well.
  3. Now add schezwan sauce. Mix well. Then take a bread slice. Then spread the prepared sooji malai mixture on it.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Add prepared bread's sooji malai mixture side to the tawa. Cook it for 1 to 2 minutes on a low flame.
  5. Press it while roasting. Flip it to cook the other side for a few seconds. Once it is roasted from both sides, turn off the flame. Transfer it to a serving plate. Cut it into triangle shaped four pieces. Garnish it with oregano.
  6. 'Sooji Malai Toast' is ready to be served.
