Chinese Roll | Veg Chinese Roll is a popular and mouth-watering roll.

Chinese Roll | Veg Chinese Roll is very simple and easy to prepare from veggies, sauces, and chapati/plain paratha. It is loaded with different veggies and sauces. You can add more and more veggies to make it more nutritious. The crunch of veggies and flavors of sauces makes it more delicious and you can not stop eating it. Serve it with tomato ketchup or chutney or any dip or with your favorite beverages. Try to prepare this yummy and healthy snack and enjoy it with friends and family.   • Instead of vinegar, you can add lemon juice.
  • Take either chapati or plain paratha as per your choice.
  • Add veggies of your choice.
  • Saute the veggies on a high flame. Do not overcook the veggies.
  • Adjust the sauces as per the requirement.
  • Serve it immediately for a better taste.

Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chili - 1 slit
  • Grated ginger - as required
  • Onion - 1 cup, julienne
  • Capsicum - as required, julienne
  • Carrot - as required, julienne
  • Beans - as required, julienne
  • Cabbage - as required, shredded
  • Salt - as required
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar - a little
  • Red chili sauce - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon
  • Chapati or plain paratha - 1

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add green chili, ginger, and onion. Saute well on a high flame.
  2. Add capsicum, carrot, and beans. Saute well.
  3. Add cabbage and salt. Saute for a few seconds on a high flame. Do not overcook the veggies.
  4. Now, add soy sauce, vinegar, red chili sauce, and tomato ketchup. Saute well for a few seconds and transfer it to a bowl.
  5. Now, heat a pan and place chapati or plain paratha. Just heat it a little from both sides and transfer it to a plate.
  6. Place the above-prepared filling to the center.
  7. Now, fold one of the side tightly and roll it.
  8. Cut it into two equal pieces.
  9. Delicious Chinese Roll | Veg Chinese Roll is ready to be served.
