Paneer Spring Onion Paratha | Hare Pyaz Paneer Ka Paratha is a new twist to the old recipe. Earlier moms are used to making paratha only in tiffin boxes with pickles. But it’s time to upgrade your kid’s tiffin box. Nowadays kids love to eat cheese and paneer. So, Vijay Haldiya Ji brought paratha recipe using seasonal vegetables.

You will definitely try this paratha as it is nutritious for your kids. Now you don’t have to be worried about their tiffin box. Ingredients

  • Spring onion / Hara pyaz - 1 Cup finely chopped
  • Grated cheese - 1 tbsp
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirchi powder - 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Whole wheat dough / Gehu ka aata - As required
  • Whole wheat flour / Gehu ka sukha aata - As required
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp - tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take spring onion in a bowl. Add cheese, paneer, salt, red chilli powder, and chaat masala. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  2. Take the medium-soft wheat dough and make a round shaped big circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha. Likewise, prepare another paratha.
  3. Apply ghee to the prepared one paratha. Then sprinkle whole wheat flour on it.
  4. Now put the rolled another paratha on it. Press its borders. Slightly roll it.
  5. Put small glass in the centre of the paratha. Make a small slits on all sides of the paratha.
  6. Then put small ball sized stuffing between the paratha. Take up one by one slit sides and cover the stuffing. Carefully press and seal its borders with your fingers.
  7. Dust it with flour and roll it to make a paratha.
  8. Meanwhile, heat a tawa and grease it with ghee. Place the stuffed paratha on it and cook it on a medium flame. Apply ghee to it.
  9. Flip the paratha and cook it on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes and keep pressing it.
  10. Cook it well from both sides by applying ghee to it. Once it is done, take it out on a serving plate and cut it.
  11. 'Paneer Spring Onion Paratha | Hare Pyaz Paneer Ka Paratha' is ready to be served with cucumber and lemon pickle.
