Besan Pyaaz Paneer Paratha is mouthwatering paratha for everyone. 

Besan Pyaaz Paneer Paratha is a very healthy paratha. This needs fewer ingredients like besan/gram flour, paneer/cottage cheese, pyaaz/onion and some spices. The mixture is stuffed in the dough to make paratha. This has a crispy texture with a delicious and healthy filling. You can serve it with curd or chutney or pickle. This does not require sabzi or curry hence you can easily prepare this as a complete meal. So, try to make this paratha at home and enjoy. Do share your feedback as well.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat flour dough - as required
  • Besan/Gram flour - 3 to 4 Tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Grated Paneer/Cottage cheese - 1/4 Cup
  • Saunf/fennel seeds - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds/jeera - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala/All spice mix - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 2 Tablespoon
  • Ghee/CLarified butter - as required for roasting

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add gram flour, chopped onion, grated paneer, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, red chilli powder, oil. Mix well.
  2. Now, take a small ball of wheat flour dough. Roll it into small roti using rolling pin.
  3. Put the onion mix in the centre and seal it properly. Dust it with a flour and roll it out with light hands.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa.
  5. Cook the paratha on a medium flame. Apply ghee on both the side and cook by pressing with a spatula. Once done, take out on a serving plate.
  6. Yummy 'Besan Pyaaz Paneer Ka Paratha' is ready to be served with curd and green chutney.
