This is quick and easy to prepare with only 2 ingredients that is curd and sugar. You can add flavouring of your choice to it. This recipe prepares the shrikhand with the flavours of kesar/saffron and elaichi/cardamom. Dry fruits add crunch to the dish as well as enhances the taste. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- To make shrikhand, only thick curd is required. So, hang the curd for at least 4 to 5 hours. You can keep the curd in the muslin cloth in the refrigerator overnight too.
- This is a basic recipe of shrikhand. You can make many variations using fruits like mango, strawberry.
